Raphael Warnock – the leading Democrat trying to unseat U.S. Sen. Kelly Loeffler – discussed his support for LGBTQ issues with a group of influential LGBTQ civic leaders and elected officials on Monday as early voting opened in Georgia.
The hour-long virtual meet and greet with LGBTQ voters came as polls showed Warnock surging to the top of a crowded field of candidates in the special election. Loeffler, who was appointed to office by Gov. Brian Kemp, has carved out an anti-LGBTQ track record since taking office in January.
