Broncos elect not to practice, focus on social justice and police brutality


ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — With issues weighing heavy on their minds, the Broncos held a lengthy team meeting Thursday morning and decided not to practice, using the time to focus on social justice reform and creating change in their community.

The Broncos joined several teams — the Colts, Packers, Jets, Bears, Titans, Cardinals and Washington — who elected not to work out in response to the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisc.
